Plain English, because a tool about honesty shouldn't hide behind legalese. Using the app means you accept these.
A one-time licence to use Dont You Do It on your own devices, for as long as the app exists and your platform supports it. 69.69 in your local currency, paid once on the App Store. There is no free trial, no subscription, no advertising and no locked features, and we will not introduce any of them for people who have already bought it.
Optional Break Glass fees are separate one-off purchases you choose to enable during setup. Each one unlocks a single night. They are never charged automatically and never enabled by default.
The app shields apps and websites you choose, during a schedule you set, and holds messages you write into its vault until noon the next day.
It is a friction device, not a guarantee. If you delete the app, disable Screen Time access, use another device, or find any of the other ways around it, it will not stop you. We say this on the first screen of the app, and we're saying it again here. Do not rely on it as your only safeguard for anything that genuinely matters.
Apple does not permit any third-party app to block messages to one specific person inside Messages, WhatsApp, Instagram or similar. We shield whole apps. Anyone claiming otherwise is describing something their app cannot do.
It is not medical or psychological treatment, addiction support, or a crisis service. It is not a gambling-control tool, deliberately. If you're struggling with compulsive behaviour, alcohol or your mental health, please talk to a professional — this is an app, not care.
Purchases go through Apple, so Apple handles refunds under their policy and under EU consumer law, including the fourteen-day right of withdrawal where it applies. We can't process a refund ourselves, but if something went wrong, write to us and we'll help you take it up with them.
Covered fully in the privacy policy: nothing leaves your device. There is no account and no server holding your information, which also means we cannot recover anything you delete.
The app is provided as it is. We've built it carefully and we describe its limits honestly, but we can't be liable for messages that get sent, relationships that go badly, or money that gets spent — those remain yours. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under Estonian or EU law, including for death, personal injury or fraud.
If we change these terms, the new version appears here with a new date and is announced in the app. If we ever stop supporting the app, we'll say so with reasonable notice, and it will keep working on your device for as long as your operating system allows.
Estonian law applies, and the courts of Estonia have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protections of your own country's law and can bring a claim there.
